24 Jan 2012 On CNY eve, Cookie was so busy, busy begging for food beneath our glass dining table, as my family gathered round to have a home-cooked reunion lunch. She actually managed to take a bite off my roast chicken before my parents and sister arrived. Cookie was caught red handed by my sister as she stepped into my home, witnessing Cookie licking the chicken breast! Here's Cookie attempting yet again to steal dessert (pineapple upside down cake).  Things slowed down a bit on CNY Day 1. It was quite a laid back day for us, and Cookie too. She enjoyed rolling on her favourite quilt, sticking her paws towards the ceiling. Hmm...she somehow resembles, a tiny bit, of a baby dragon here...  Things were not so cheery for Creme on CNY Day 2. The lion dance troop performed a round in my estate, and during the entire period, Creme went into hiding because she was so scared of the sound of the drums. It took us 10 mins to eventually find her hiding in the cupboard beneath the sink!  Nonetheless, the animals enjoyed some 'human time' and extra food! Happy Dragon Year to everyone!   |
