6 May 2012 Today is a bright and sunny day but come afternoon, the sky opens and releases its pent-up precipitation in the form of roaring thunderstorm. The animals are scared. Creme is constantly hiding beneath something - the dinning table, chair, and day bed. Vincent manages to pull her out and place her covered up in her favourite quilt. Creme seems comfortable and secure in there. Cookie seems to be able to deal with the thunderstorm better. She sniffs Creme out but Creme can't be bothered to come out of her 'shell'. Creme eventually falls asleep in this soft cocoon. I hope our animals are able to appreciate that they have a roof over their heads to protect them from the weather elements. And I wish the strays out there are able to take cover in some way or another, and keep warm. |
