Sterilized Creme

We finally got round to spay Creme, on the 3rd day of CNY, almost 4 weeks after her 1st heat, as advised by the vet.

She is such a strong cat. She didn't moan nor make a sound because of pain. But she did look angry and miserable (kept squinting her right eye).

Back at home after her sterilization surgery, Creme didn't like the e-collar which prevented her from licking the incision site. She tried to shake it off but failed (see part 1 of the video below).

We let her rest in our guest room to sleep off the anesthesia. She woke up now and then probably due to discomfort and pain from the wound. At wee hours, when I went to check on her, Creme woke up again and started purring and meowing softly and sweetly at the same time
(see part 2 of the video below). That was so uncharacteristic of her. She normally expresses herself with 'well~' sound, not 'meow~'. Anyway, I think she was still under the influence of the anesthesia. She was back to her normal self the next day.
