22 Sep 2010 The official name is 'Catry Scratching Tree'. It's a made-in-China scratching post stud with springy flowers and dangling fur balls with bells. It rings when things are bouncing... We saw it while walking in Tampines One, at the Pet Station discount display area on the ground floor. Vincent immediately identified this particular red and yellow one as a 'hit' for Creme. True enough, they hit it off very well although Creme was scared by the ringing bells at first. But soon after, she was hitting all the flowers and balls she can hit at any one time, looking really busy going round and round. Our strategy is to keep her occupied with this 'tree' so that she forgets to scratch my sofa, although at this stage, our sofa is beyond hope already. Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
