8 Sep 2012 Time flies. It seemed that we just adopted Cookie not long ago when she was 3 months young and now she's 4 years old. She's still behaving like a puppy though, one that is so easily contented. She would put on her ever-so-happy face with just a meal a day (and some occasional treats). She would show a wide grin and waggy tail when you take her out for a walk. She would have a sleepy pig face when she snuggles up on her bed (just a cheap Ikea baby diaper-changing pad) in our air-conditioned room. I think the happiest time of her day would be the moment when we return from work and step into our home. She would welcome us with licks and paws like she hasn't seen us for days. This is our simple and adorable Cookie. We celebrated her birthday one week in advance because I would be away on business on her actual birthday (16 Sep). We went to Torte, it's our first time there. Actually, it's more of rewarding ourselves rather than her because Torte doesn't serve dog food (only water for pets) but they do serve delicious human food. Cookie tried to get close to the food, from the right side, and the left side... ...and from beneath the table. Cookie: Give me some, please? Vincent was mean. He pretended to offer Cookie a potato wedge but eventually put it into his own mouth! Actually, Cookie already had her birthday muffin cake before we set out for lunch. But we did give Cookie several wedges in the end. And here are our photos with Cookie. We're happy and contented. |
